Exhibition Statement

Anthony Roberto will be showing Object/Model, Figure/Form, a collection of 3D printed sculptures from an ongoing series of digitally sculpted models blocked and composed in no space.



All they have is each other. They are one thing, they are the same thing. They are individuals. There is no time, there is space without place. They are bored, afraid, exuberant. They are trying to figure it out. They are repeating old habits, old patterns, old methods.  These sometimes produce results.  Sometimes not.

Bio

Anthony Roberto is a Portland based artist. He:

makes prints

floats through space

Tries to roughly shape hard geometries.



He received his BFA in printmaking from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2010 with a heavy focus on hand engraving and aquatint.
