Quinha Faria

Biography

Erica 'Quinha' Faria was born in Campinas, Brazil and raised in New Jersey. She is a Registered Nurse and an artist who examines how a body plays, performs work, carries stress, and achieves a state of rest. Her work has been included at various national shows, such as Vox Populi and Asian Arts Initiative in Philadelphia and Frieze New York. She has a BS in Human Physiology, a BS in Nursing, and is pursuing an MFA at Bard College. Quinha lives in Portland, OR.
