Biography

Kris is an interdisciplinary creative who uses the language of art, design, and craft as a means to explore the overlapping nature of technology, culture, and aesthetics. A generalist when it comes to medium — I she searches for the right format for each project, whether it’s a publication, textile piece, short story, or website.

Kris makes much of her work under the collective moniker Midgray. Her work has been exhibited internationall in project spaces, gallerys, and museums. She was awarded First prize in the Arlene Schnitzer Visual Arts competition. She holds an AA degree in fashion design from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and a BFA in graphic design from Portland State University.
