Biography
Jeremy Rotsztain (b. Toronto, Canada) explores contemporary abstraction using code and computer graphics. His work manifests as augmented & virtual reality artworks, lenticular prints and 3D animations. His projects often engage with the physical environments that they're presented in, playing with history, experience of space and color. His work is typically slow in nature, visceral and featuring soundtracks by electronic musicians. He lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
Jeremy's work has been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally, including Zentrum für Kunst und Medien (ZKM), Geneva International Film Festival, MUTEK Festival, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, New York Hall of Science and Boston Cyberarts Festival. His work has been covered in Wired Magazine, The Atlantic, LA Weekly, Fast Company and Vice.
