BiographyHello, I am Molly Alloy, born in St. Louis, MO in 1981; living and working in Portland, OR since 2008. I make relational objects, primarily from driftwood and leather. I believe trees and animals to be kin, and I create devotional sculptures from their remnants as a way of giving my love and attention to them. I am changed by my intimacy with the objects I make, learning about the land, the lives of my kin, and myself from what they show me. For example I have learned a great deal about the lives of beavers and the ecosystems they manage from collecting driftwood that they have sculpted.

I do this work as an inherently queer practice; I am trans, nonbinary and neuromagical. I do this work as communion with queer ancestors and Mother Earth. With the goal of Land Back and restoration of indigenous life-ways; I am a parent. I do this work as a healing practice for my body; I live with Stage IV Endometriosis and Stage IV Cancer. I do this work as a gift. I love you.

Biography


Elizabeth Arzani is an interdisciplinary artist and educator living and working in Portland, Oregon. As a collector of sorts, her work assembles printmaking and ceramics with language and found ephemera. Guided by paradoxes and the homonyms whole and hole, fragments emphasize absence as presence, locating the unknown with site specificity. Arzani has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally and has been granted residencies at Kulturschapp; Walferdange, Luxembourg and New Harmony Clay Project; New Harmony, IN. Arzani has been the recipient of two Career Opportunity Grants from the Oregon Arts Commission with support from the Ford Family Foundation as well as two project grants from the Regional Arts &#38;amp; Culture Council. She has been a member of Carnation Contemporary (Portland, OR) since 2023. Arzani holds an MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art and a BFA in Painting and Art Education from the University of North Carolina.

BiographyBorne received his BFA from Oregon State University in 2007 and his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2014. Russell’s artwork creates a dialog invented through the interaction of objects to tell a story. He explores micro and macro cultural identity to pause and flip preconceptions of what you are looking at. Borne has spent the majority of his career in design and art direction for various international companies. Most recently, Borne leads North America Brand Design for Adidas. Borne lives and works in Portland, Oregon.

BiographyWayne Bund is a storyteller depicting queer survival through photography and prose. He creates self-portraits that weave performance, costuming, and site-responsive image-making to examine how queer bodies navigate visibility and belonging within landscapes shaped by power and exclusion. He positions his body as both subject and material, employing masks, concealment, and abstraction to create images that blur distinctions between human and landscape. He strives to create chimeras, hybrids of the real and the mystical that bridge fantasy and documentation. At the center of his practice is transformation.

He has worked as a professional photographer for 15 years and has photographed Jinkx Monsoon for Vogue Magazine. He was a featured artist of the Oregon Contemporary Artist Biennial 2026. His work has been exhibited at the Seattle Art Museum, On the Boards, Gage Academy of Art in Seattle, the Ludlow Festival in the UK, SOMarts, Risk/Reward, Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, PNCA, and The Cock Gallery. His written work has been published in Foglifter, The Portland Mercury, and The Willamette Week. Bund’s practice has received attention in print and online from The Portland Mercury, Bad at Sports, the Oregonian, The Willamette Week, the Seattle Stranger, Artforum, and Portland Monthly. He has taught classes at PNCA, the IPRC, and the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology. He has received grants from the WESTAF Foundation, the Oregon Arts Commission, and the Regional Arts and Culture Council. He studied at Pacific Northwest College of Art where he got his MFA. He currently lives in Portland, Oregon. He is a Pisces Sun with a Scorpio Rising.

Biography
Renee Couture has a diverse, project-based practice encompassing sculpture, photography, and drawing and is emotionally influenced by her mothering experience. From postpartum depression to small daily rituals as markers of accomplishments, to looking back on her own childhood, motherhood has proven to be rich territory with a range of experiences to serve as creative fodder.

She holds an MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Art (an affiliate of Cal Arts) and a BA in Studio Art from Buena Vista University. Couture’s work has been exhibited nationally in group exhibitions and as a solo artist. She is the recipient of an Individual Artist Fellowship and four Career Opportunity Grants from the Oregon Arts Commission. Couture has been granted residencies at Ucross Foundation, Djerassi Residency Artist Program, Jentel, PLAYA, The Studios at MASS MoCA, and ARIM. 

Currently, Couture lives on seven acres in rural southern Oregon with her husband, daughter, and cat. She works out of a retrofitted 20-foot camper turned studio space located in her garden.

Biography


Michael Espinoza is a non-binary, multi-racial, multi-disciplinary, self-taught artist whose work embodies &#38;amp; embraces the undone artistic practices of Queer Ancestors lost to persecution, disease, fatal sadness, &#38;amp; closets. Currently, their practice borrows strategies from embroidery, quilting, digital media, sculpture &#38;amp; photography to explore sex &#38;amp; sexuality, intersectional identities, intimacy, the body, &#38;amp; contact with the dead. They have previously exhibited live performance, site-specific installation, &#38;amp; video; their work can be found in public art collections, digital spaces, domestic &#38;amp; international group shows, &#38;amp; the many places intended for queer joy. Michael was a featured artist in the 2024 Oregon Contemporary Artists’ Biennial and artist in residence at Caldera (2022) and the Tom of Finland Foundation (2024).&#38;nbsp;

Biography
Pamela Hadley is a time-based light artist based in Portland, OR. Using projected minimalist abstract animations while considering or constructing architectural forms, they create immersive environments. Hadley is interested in how embodied viewing changes the scale of time and place and makes us witnesses to the divorce of contemporary culture from these basic realities. Believing that phenomenological experience can be an agent of social change, they seek to make these experiences available to everyone. 
Hadley has participated in exhibitions and artist residencies across the US, including the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology and High Dessert Test Sights. They have recieved several awards from RACC and the Ford Family Foundation. An active member of the Portland, OR art community, Hadley is a member of Carnation Contemporary, WAVE Collective, Borderline Salon, a founding member of POCOCO (Portland Coalition of Art Collectives), and a Member of the Board for Art in Oregon. Hadley earned an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL, and a BFA from the Corcoran College of Art and Design, Washington, DC.

Biography
Erinn Kathryn (she/hers) is an interdisciplinary artist (sculpture, mixed media, painting, installation) who mines the ethos of the American West, examining the intersections between the ‘natural’ and ‘constructed’ worlds in which we exist.


As part of her practice, Erinn collects, hordes, and augments found materials of all kinds, ranging from mass-produced goods like postcards and blister packs, to natural materials like bones and lichen, to literal street-side garbage. By re-contextualizing existing objects, Erinn reframes long-held perspectives on objects and spaces, while remaining conscientious of her physical footprint as a maker in a material-gorged world.


Erinn’s work has been presented at Carnation Contemporary (2026), Helzer Gallery and Paragon Gallery at Portland Community College (Portland; 2023, 2021), Multnomah Arts Center (Portland; 2014), Alaska House Art Gallery (Fairbanks, AK; 2013), Pacific Northwest College of Art (Portland, OR; 2012).


In The Frail, Erinn’s pandemic-era chapbook of “constructed poems” created from one existing text, was published by Buckman Journal in 2024.


 Erinn hails from Central Pennsylvania. She received her M.A. from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Erinn is a member of Carnation Contemporary and Borderline Art Salon, both in Portland, OR.

BiographyDrew Laughery is an artist and musician working across several media, though he does tend to return to drawing again and again as a generative place to explore ideas. He loves paper, and makes work utilizing its unique qualities.&#38;nbsp; He was born and raised in rural Oregon. Wading through creeks and watching lambs being birthed were formative creative acts.&#38;nbsp; Since 1998 he has lived and invested in the community of Portland, OR. He is a founding member of the rock band Blitzen Trapper, and performed on keyboards in the band on many notable stages and tv shows across the world.&#38;nbsp; He left the band in 2011 to pursue his visual art career, earning grants and exhibiting around Portland.
